CTP Appoints New President, Jim Kinneary

Coffin Turbo Pump, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. James Kinneary to the position of President of Coffin Turbo Pump, Inc. Ai??In this position Jim will be fully responsible for all aspects of Coffin and will replace Mr. Kevin Powers who has served as President of Coffin since 1996 and who is retiring.
Jim joined Coffin in March 2014 as VP Business Development and has made significant contributions in a short period of time to the development of Coffin’s new product introductions in the motor driven pumps and has led the company into new market opportunities for future growth.
Prior to joining Coffin, Jim was Operations Director for Hydratight, a major supplier of field engineering equipment and services for the oil and gas market, Regional Director of North American steam turbine and gas compression group and was VP of Dresser-Rand’s Turbine and Gas Compressor Group in Latin America. Earlier, Jim was VP/General Manager for Johnston Pump and spent eighteen years with Alfa Laval’s international Marine and Power Division.
Jim earned a BS from the US Merchant Marine Academy, a MS from NYU Polytechnic and an MBA from Villanova University.
